Jill Blake-Burke
Head Of Litigation
Jill was born in Cork, Ireland and immigrated to the Bay Area with her family when she was eighteen months old, where she grew up and resides today. With a background in Psychology, Jill was drawn to family law because she wanted to make the experience better for all parties going through emotional, often contentious, proceedings.
Jill earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology magna cum laude from San Diego State University, with minors in both History and Sociology. While at San Diego State, Jill played on the Women’s Club Soccer Team, winning a National Championship in 2006.
After college, Jill returned to the Bay Area to attend Santa Clara Law. In law school, Jill interned with the Family Court and was a technical editor on the International Law Journal. Jill graduated manga cum laude in the top 5% of her class, with Order of the Coif and Dean’s List honors, having also received Witkin Awards in Torts, Appellate Advocacy, and Remedies, and CALI Excellence Awards for Legal Research and Writing, Constitutional Law II, Advanced Torts, Wills and Trusts, and Legal Profession.
Jill is focused on practicing family law in the Bay Area. She has represented clients of all family structures and backgrounds. With more than a decade of experience practicing family law, Jill is dedicated to assisting her clients with achieving the best possible outcomes in their cases, whether that be achieving a settlement or litigating a case through trial.
Outside of the courtroom, Jill is an avid runner and sports fan. Jill can most likely be found running a local road race, playing soccer or competitive kickball, or cheering on the Giants, 49ers, Sharks, Warriors, Earthquakes, and Bay FC.
